by Kim Gayo
The Society of American Military Engineers presents...
DESIGNING GLAZING SYSTEMS UNDER THE UPDATED UFC 4-010-10, AT/FP REQUIREMENTS
Date: Thursday, July 9, 2015
Time: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM Eastern Time
Join our very own Matt Nebel, alongside Jeffrey Nielsen of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) and the Architectural Practice Committee, as they explore the DOD Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) document (UFC 4-010-01) design criteria regarding glazing systems and AT/FP requirements.
This two-part webinar will provide additional detail on how to comply with DOD blast resistant window and skylight criteria; main changes made in the criteria and implications of such; highlight reference tools to assist in designing windows for DOD facilities; and present case studies on how the Standard 10 criteria has been implemented for various types of DOD projects including Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and Window Vendor work.
Architects, Engineers, Master Planners and Contractors will greatly benefit from the opportunity to ask questions and receive real time feedback as they learn more on DOD design criteria for blast resistant windows.
*The last day to register online is Wednesday, July 8, 2015.
