Hinman’s international experience includes work on over ninety embassy compounds around the globe for the U.S. Department of State, including: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Beijing, China; London, England; Guayaquil, Ecuador and Rwanda, Africa.

We also served as Prime Consultants on both Design-Build and Design Indefinite Delivery, and Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IDIQ) held with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade within the Canadian Government. The Design-Build IDIQ included window upgrades in Kabul, Sri Lanka, Manila, Jakarta, and Bangkok, among others. The Design IDIQ included analyzing an existing structure to be used by the Canadian Government for their Moscow Mission.

In addition to these contracts, Hinman has worked on additional international projects including multiple U.S. intelligence community building interests, facilities for non-government organizations, commercial banks, offices, data centers and hotels.. We perform site visits to each location to document as-built conditions and then complete assessments of each building’s capacity to resist air-blast loads. This includes cost-benefit studies which outline several mitigation options for the client and relative cost/risk benefits for each.

We also provide blast consulting services for a new multiple-city block complex located in the heart of the Doha old city center. This project included blast consulting for three new government buildings, a hotel, cultural center, and two combined retail/residential/office buildings.

Our team of engineers can provide on-the-ground assessment and implementation for projects around the globe.
